Dr. Pulley Clutch and Bell Kit for 150cc GY6 Engines
The clutch (also known as the rear pulley) sits on the back belt pulley and rotates with it. Once it reaches the required rpm's, the centrifugal force moves the clutch plates apart to mesh with the clutch basket which transfers the power to the gear box. By changing the springs that come with the clutch you can control the power you get out of the clutch as well. Harder springs delay the reaction of the linings towards centrifugal power, delaying contact with the bell until you have reached a higher rpm rate. This in turn, gives you more acceleration which is something you will appreciate.
If you would like to maximze your clutch acceleration and power, we offer several sets of clutch springs in different rpm combinations as well as racing clutch bells. By experimenting and changing the clutch spring rpm's you can find the proper power/acceleration/top seed combination for your clutch.
