Linhai Scooters is a scooter manufacturing company that was established in the year 1956
in China. Back then, Linhai manufactured only small engines but over the last five decades it has transformed into the
world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer. With over 50 years of expertise in manufacturing engines and two wheelers, the
company currently manufactures over 1.5 million engines a year and over 750,000 scooters and motorcycles. From 2003
onwards, the company started equipping all its two wheelers with Yamaha engines. An ISO 9002 certificate was awarded to
Linhai Scooter Company in the year 1999.
Linhai also manufactures Crossover Utility Vehicles under the name of Big Horn. The Big Horn 300 is a 4 stroke 300cc
liquid cooled engine CUV. It has a Yamaha engine which delivers 21 hp. The Big Horn 300 has 4 wheel hydraulic disk brakes.
Another model of Linhai Big Horn series is Big Horn 400 UTV IRS. It comes with independent front and rear suspension and
hydraulic bilateral disc brakes. It is equipped with 352cc 4 stroke water cooled engine which delivers a maximum power
of 22.8 hp. Big Horn 400 UTV IRS is provided with an electric ignition system. |
